Privacy notice
Last updated: 17 October 2026
Draft for review. This notice describes how this website works today. It is not legal advice. Before launch, please check it against Jamaica's Data Protection Act, 2020 and the guidance from the Office of the Information Commissioner, ideally with a lawyer, and make sure every statement below is true for your business.
Who we are
Blessings of Produce ("we", "us") sells fresh fruits, vegetables and ground provisions in Jamaica through this website and WhatsApp. You can contact us on WhatsApp at 876-233-2811 or 876-448-2497, or by email at .
The information we collect
When you place an order
To deliver your order we ask for your name, delivery area and address. You can also give a phone number for the driver, a preferred delivery day and time, what we should do if an item is unavailable, and any notes. Together with the products you choose, this goes into a WhatsApp message that you decide whether to send to us.
This website does not send your details to us or to anyone else, and it does not store them on a server. We only receive them if you send the WhatsApp message.
When you message us
Like any WhatsApp chat, we see your WhatsApp name, your phone number and what you write to us.
On your own device
Your basket (the products and amounts you choose) is saved in your browser so it is still there when you come back. It does not include your name, address or phone number. You can remove it at any time by emptying your basket or clearing your browser's data for this site.
Website statistics
We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies on this website.
If you agree, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and products are popular. It uses cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, your device type and your approximate location. We do not send your name, phone number, address or order notes to Google Analytics. You can change your choice at any time with the "Analytics choices" link at the bottom of our home page.
Why we use your information
- To prepare, confirm and deliver your order.
- To contact you about your order, for example if something is unavailable.
- To answer your questions.
- To keep the business records the law requires, such as sales records.
We do not sell your information. We do not send you marketing messages unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
- WhatsApp (Meta): your messages to us travel through WhatsApp and are handled under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
- The person delivering your order: your name, address, phone number and order details, so they can deliver it.
- Our website host (Cloudflare): delivers the pages of this website to your device. Like any website host, it receives technical information such as your IP address and browser type when you visit, and handles it under its own privacy policy.
- Anyone the law requires us to share with, for example a government authority with a legal right to ask.
How long we keep it
We keep order details only for as long as we need them to deliver your order and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
How we protect it
We limit access to order information to the people who need it to prepare and deliver your order. We protect the phone and WhatsApp account we use for orders with a passcode and two-step verification. This website never asks for card details.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us:
- what personal information we hold about you, and for a copy of it;
- to correct information that is wrong;
- to delete your information, where we don't need to keep it by law;
- not to use your information for marketing.
Send your request on WhatsApp or by email. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact Jamaica's Office of the Information Commissioner.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
